WDCC Unity/GOTV Event Wednesday, October 19, 7-9PM @ Woburn Country Club Join us for a festive evening to mark the kick-off of voting in the November State election! All Democratic Candidates for Statewide Office and District Office have been invited – meet the candidates and make plans with your fellow WDCC members and friends to Get Out the Vote to elect Democrats across the ballot in November! Tickets are $15 per person. Order tickets through ActBlue here. Please try to RSVP/get your tickets by October 10 to help us plan our number of guests (tickets will still be available up to the event). Contact Chris DiMeo with questions by email. Fall Woburn DCC Meeting Re-Cap Thanks to everyone who was able to join us on Saturday, September 24 for our Fall WDCC meeting. Our business meeting lasted about an hour – we welcomed new members to some of our Ward Committees; passed our new by-laws for our organization; and we voted to endorse YES on Question 1 and YES on Question 4 on the November ballot. Help Flip a Nearby State House Seat – Canvass for Teresa English! The 22nd Middlesex State Representative District (Billerica) has been represented by a tea party Republican for the past 12 years and is the only district in the Senate District held by a Republican. 2022 is our opportunity to flip this seat! An Air Force veteran and a history teacher, Teresa English is a fantastic candidate who’s running a strong and positive campaign and can win with our help. Early Voting and Vote by Mail in Woburn Early voting for the November Election will be available on the dates/times outlined below. The last day to register to vote ahead of the election is October 29. Vote by Mail will also be available for the November election. Early voting in Woburn will take place at the Old Wyman School, 679 Main Street.
